Channel 4 to boost international offerings with Walter Presents
Channel 4 is set to increase its offerings of international television by joining forces with new international content on-demand service Walter Presents in the New Year.
Launching January 3, Walter Presents is a curated goldmine of the greatest television from all corners of the world and will available completely free in the UK.
Offering a growing library of the world’s highest rated television shows, Walter Presents will eventually be home for more than 600 hours of drama available for viewing directly from All 4. All programmes will be carefully subtitled and available for download to computers or devices.
A selection of the best international series will also be given a linear premiere on Channel 4 and More4, including the eagerly anticipated German Cold War drama Deutschland ’83.
Other highlights to be made available on the service in January include the acclaimed French political thriller about the assassination of the French President, Spin, and the award-winning Belgian drama Clan, which is described by service curator Walter luzzolino as “Desperate Housewives on acid”. For Twilight fans, there’s also the bizarre Danish drama Heartless, a sexy supernatural thriller that is set to shock and entice audiences globally.

Walter Presents is bringing these must-see smash hits to the UK free of charge, available to watch whenever you want. A range of compelling, addictive stories which are impossible to put down.”
