I’m A Celeb 2016: Which celebrities have been spotted landing in Oz?
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV next Sunday, and the first reports of celebrities touching down near the infamous Australian camp are flooding in.
First, it was reported that comedian and actor Joel Dommett had arrived in Oz in the early hours of Sunday morning from Japan, where he had been filming a new show for BBC Three.
The 30-year-old star has appeared on Skins, Popatron, Impractical Jokers and Bring The Noise. The Sun broke the news of Dommett’s arrival and involvement in the reality show, revealing producers believe Dommett will “become the joker of the group” and “add some real variety to the mix”.
Next up, Olympic Gold-winner Sam Quek was sighted landing in Australia, apparently confirming rumours that she too will be appearing in this year’s jungle madness.
The hockey player and swimwear model was first rumoured to be appearing on the show when she revealed she would be “busy” in November and December of 2016.
Quek won an Olympic gold medal alongside the Great Britain hockey team during the summer’s Rio Olympics, and also received the highest honour at last year’s European Championships.
The third star to land in Brisbane was another reality show alumni, Diversity star Jordan Banjo, who first found fame for winning Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 with the famous dance troupe.
Speaking after his arrival at the airport, the dancer told The Mirror he was scared of snakes, heights and bugs.
Something tells us Banjo might have some difficulty in the celebrity camp, then.
We’ll have more updates as we get them on which celebrities have been sighted in Australia ahead of this weekend’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! premiere.
