Made In Chelsea’s Binky Felstead and Josh ‘JP’ Patterson reveal baby name and first pictures
Made In Chelsea couple Binky Felstead and Josh ‘JP’ Patterson have unveiled the very first picture of their daughter and revealed the highly anticipated baby name.
The E4 reality stars welcomed their baby girl earlier this month and chose to name her India Elizabeth Felstead-Patterson. The pair have now revealed that little India weighed 7lb 13oz when she was born just before 2pm on June 12 in St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, JP recalled: “I burst into tears when she was born… When you’ve seen your partner give birth you end up feeling emotions for them that you’ve never felt before. I can’t describe how much admiration I have for her for what she’s been through… it’s a new feeling in my heart.”
The celebrity also confessed the birth of baby India has strengthened his relationship with MIC co-star Binky and brought the pair closer than ever.
He said: “Having India has cemented us – even more than we were before. We’re a family now.”
Recalling the day she gave birth, Binky added: “It was a dream labour. There was no screaming or crying and it wasn’t like in a movie. It was all over very quickly.
“She just loves cuddles, and everyone’s saying she looks like Josh but she has both our dark hair.”
The news of the baby’s name came as a surprise after MIC‘s Ryan Libbey recently claimed the couple had ditched the name India.
Ryan told BANG Showbiz: “They did have a name in mind for the baby but then they realised that someone else in the public eye just had a baby called the same name. It was someone from The Only Way is Essex or something like that, I can’t remember but the baby was called India …
“They’ve gone against it purely, because someone’s beat them to it. Which I don’t know, I don’t know if that’s just like reasons why you shouldn’t but …”
Made In Chelsea will return later this year to E4.
